Due to sports injuries I have had knee pain for some time. I have had cartilage repair twice and my condition was getting progressively worse. I tried cortisone shots but they would only work for a short period of time. In 2007 I read about the laser therapy and decided to attend one of the seminars to obtain more information. Upon doing so I scheduled myself for the treatments. After three treatments I had noticed quite an improvement, however I continued through the whole program. Upon completion I was able to resume all my previous activities. In March 2009, I reinjured my knee. After several treatments, my knee is on the mend again.
I would recommend this therapy to anyone who has suffered with knee pain.

I am writing you to report how successful the Bio-Flex Laser Treatments were for my 14 year old son who sustained a 1st degree AC (shoulder) seperation while playing hockey on January 31, 2009. Fortunately, I was informed of your clinic prior to even needing this type of service. My son received his initial assessment by Dr. Reimer and a first laser treatment within 48 hours of his injury.
From the time of his injury until his first treatment, he was experiencing 9-10/10 pain levels affecting his sleep and general physical functioning. Due to the injury he had only about 20-30% range of motion of that shoulder. He was taking analgesics every 4 hours just to minimally control his pain. After his second treatment, his pain was 5/10 if he inadvertently moved his shoulder the wrong way and was taking an anti-inflammatory four times daily. By his fourth treatment the pain was 1-2/10 and now only taking an anti-inflammatory at bed time. By the sixth treatment (2 weeks after the injury) the pain was just an occasional dull ache and he was noticing an 80% improvement in range of motion abilities already.
At that point he progressed to physiotherapy and five weeks after the injury, he was back on the ice with the permission to begin shooting pucks. By the sixth week he received full clearance to play full contact hockey again.
Both my son and myself attribute his speedy recovery to the laser therapy treatments he received so soon after his injury. Having an alternative means to obtain relief from the pain was huge for him, but the return of range of motion without associated pain even more importantly emphasized the effectiveness of this treatment. There is no doubt, that the laser therapy was a huge component for treating his soft tissue injury.

I was referred by my cousin who indicated great satisfaction with the laser treatments for her lower spine.
I received about 20 treatments on my hands and fingers as I have osteoarthritis, and since completing my treatments, I have had virtually no pain in my fingertips. I also saw my fingertips straighten a bit. I fully intend to seek periodic treatment in the coming months, equivalent to maintenance. Again, thanks for being a part of my continuing health and for being an awesome staff.

After a bad fall I developed bursitis in both hips a year later. I was unable to go up the stairs without the use of the banister and walking was becoming almost impossible. I was unable to lie on my sides to sleep due to the terrible pain. After ruling out arthritis, my doctor recommended physiotherapy and topical cream but the pain remained. Bursitis was on the list.
It was not really until after the 11th treatment that I noticed I could walk stairs and could do some walking again. The pain also started to ease somewhat. By the time my last appointment came around I could also lay on my side again to sleep without waking due to pain. The laser treatment obviously was beneficial in healing my bursitis.

I found Hyperion through an ad in one of the Camrose papers. I have fibromyalgia and we decided to try laser treatments. With fibromyalgia your muscles tighten up and you are in constant pain, some days much more severe than others. After starting the laser and muscle therapy I started to feel better after each session. I've had 20 sessions with laser and 5 deep muscle therapies. I am off my pain pills and my mobility is fantastic. I would certainly recommend people give this a try.

I told my massage therapist I was looking to find where I could get laser therapy and she told me laser therapy was coming to Camrose.So the minute I heard about you I made an appointment. I was feeling not bad for I had 2 massages a month since 1990, but I just couldn't get rid of the stiffness in my knees. After I visited you my first visit I couldn't believe that the laser treatment had taken the stiffness out of my knees! Each visit I had my knees felt more improved. I recommend that everyone should try it before going to drastic measures.I took 6 treatments and do a once a month maintenance treatment now. Laser has really helped me keep my lifestyle and present activities how I like them.People don't stop at 1 or 2 treatments and complain it hasn't worked, your arthritis took a long time to come and it doesn't get better that fast. I have been able to cherish my life with no pain and I totally reassure that it will help everyone that will try it.

I had friends that suffered from arthritis and other problems that they travelled quite a distance for Hyperion treatments so I thought I should try since the clinic was so close to me. I have arthritis in my shoulder, neck and elbow which constricts my arm movement not to mention makes my nights sleepless. After a few treatments I had no more pain at night and the sharp pains have subsided. I now have full arm movement. Thank you Hyperion and Staff! They are most cooperative and enjoyable to be around.

I'm a 74 year old lady with fibromyalgia so my muscles used to ache day and night. In November 2001, I had a van accident. The air bags exploded in my face at an angle which caused my spinal column to be displaced at the top of my neck, and also the lower back. This made my muscles and ligaments scream in pure pain. In February of 2005 I found out I had breast cancer and shortly thereafter had breast sugury, two lymph nodes were removed. Muscle and rib pain followed. I read about Hyperion treatments through the Camrose paper and right away I said,"That's for me!" I started treatments immediately and all the pain left my body! Only my one leg hurts occasionally due to my crooked spine. As an added bonus, I went for a hearing test and both ears have improved, I only wear one hearing aid now. I can walk without pain, can do stairs really well and have resumed dancing. To me it's been just great, and all the staff are so nice and friendly.....one big happy family! Thanks!

Having suffered a great deal of pain with an ulcer on my right ankle since April 2007, which would not heal with medical care, was limiting my daily work. I was glad to have learned about the clinic on the radio. My doctor recommended I try the treatments. I am very impressed how the laser treatments (25 treatments from Sep 4 to Nov 20) helped the healing process on the ulcer by increasing the blood circulation. The treatments also helped my sore heel on my left foot. My feet are much warmer than before and the ulcer is continuing to heal over, though there is still some pain at times. I am very pleased with the results. I enjoyed the pleasant staff members and their thoughtful care.

After having my back "go out" in November 2007 for the first time, it took numerous chiropractic visits to get it back in shape. During the time I'd be missing my aquasize classes so when I went back and explained what had been happening with my back and wondered how to strengthen the muscles, three of the ladies said,"go for laser treatments!" I did and I am glad! Prior to treatments I felt my back would "go out" at any time. Taking laser treatments made my back spasms subside, made my back feel stronger, and - BONUS - my restless leg syndrome symptoms were also treated! I've resumed my previous lifestyle and have found maintenance treatments a good thing to do to keep it that way.

A friend told me to come and try this, as I had been experiencing extreme pain and was not able to walk very far or very fast. About two weeks after the treatments started I had a great improvement and very noticeable improvement noticed by all who worked with me as they could also see the improvement on my face as the pain was going away. I was able to resume my full daily activities. The staff are the best!!

For six years I had been troubled with my face going numb and dizziness that would cause me to be nauseated and completely incapacitated for increasingly more days. By June 2007 I had episodes that lasted a whole week.
During this time I also had two deteriorted joints at the base of my skull and neck which required cortisone shots to help control the pain and the headaches.
In June 2007 I began laser therapy and continued through July and August. Now, seven months later I have no "episodes" and have no need for cortisone shots. My medical doctor is amazed at my recovery and advises me to get further laser treatments if any of my joints become problematic.

I first heard about laser therapy on TV and mentioned it to my daughter. She said that the wife of a guy she works with had treatment. I got in touch with this lady on the phone and she said how much better she felt. That's when I made up my mind to make an appointment to come and see you.
My lower back and hips were sore. I was walking with a cane and I was always in pain. It really hurt to walk even a short distance.
The Hyperion Laser staff is so caring and kind.

I read about laser therapy in the Wetaskiwin Times and decided it might be just the treatment I required for the arthritis in my thumbs. My thumbs had reached the point where they ached continually and thwarted my much enjoyed writing ability, physically writing on paper.
After 20 treatments, my thumbs are much better. I would like to be able to say that the pain is gone completely but that would not be true. I never, however, lay awake with pain during the night. Before treatments, this was a frequent occurence. Now once again, I am able to write with no problem. Would I recommend the therapy to other?? Definitely!

Over the last couple of years, I have had some shoulder injuries for which medication, injections, physio did not work to repair and help with the pain! I would roll side to side all night long awaking in pain. After MRI's revealed torn ligaments in both shoulders, I opted for surgical repair on the one. My recovery from surgery (February) continued into June. I had improved but still had some pain. I saw an ad in a small paper and decided to try laser therapy. I have received fifteen treatments on both shoulders. I no longer feel pain in my surgery arm and the other has improved a great deal. I now have almost full function and best of all, I sleep much better! I also opted to get laser on my cervical spine for compression on a disc. I was having some pain and numbness in my one arm and hand. I no longer feel this numbness and pain!

After three years of suffering with hip pain, taking pain medications, xrays and MRI's, chiropractors and not sleeping, I read about laser therapy and decided to give it a try. I had 15 treatments and I think it was after the 5th or 6th treatment that I started to sleep through the night and take no more meds. I felt like I could start walking and I did start to exercise again.
My attitude was a lot better and with the pain now gone, I am much happier person. Everyone who helped me was very nice and caring, knew exactly all the answer to what I wanted to know. My mobility is great. Thanks you Hyperion Laser.
